Our Story

Amie and Chris McCaslin opened their first A La Mode Boutique location in 2011 on Sykesville, Maryland's Main Street.  The second location opened in October of 2015 in Ellicott City, Maryland.  Their goal has always been to create a unique shopping environment where customers can find fabulous gifts, handcrafted baubles, and brands they know and love.  Their dream has always been to own their own business together and with Chris's background in finance and with Amie's retail background, the two make the perfect team.  Visit us for all the latest trends in accessories and gifts.

Our second store location opened in October of 2015.  On July 30, 2016, Ellicott City suffered a destructive flood throughout the Main Street and  the surrounding areas.  The area continues to rebuild and many shops, restaurants, and various businesses have reopened.  At this time we are unable to return to Ellicott City Main Street.  We plan to participate in "pop ups" and events throughout town...please stay tuned for any updates!
